Our summer concert was on July 18th in Green Moor Church, with the children of St.John’s Deepcar, who wowed us with their songs from the Lion King and Matilda.
A big thank you to our guests, Lindsay and Neil from Vivacity Choir, who sang some amazing solos, and supported our tenor section on the night. One of the highlights of the second half was a fabulous rendition of Weber’s Concertina for Clarinet, ably performed by our very own Daniel Timmins, accompanied by Rachel – it was finished with a standing ovation from the choir.
We raised a lovely £217 for the Alzeihmers Society, and a big thank to the ladies of the Green Moor Church who put on a splendid afternoon tea.

On Saturday 11th July we held an ‘Afternoon Tea Party’ fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who came and made it a huge success! It was one of many social events that the Choir holds during the year.
